Olivine Dreams is an original mixed media artwork with olive green faux leather draped over a 36” x 36” x 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas. The hanging portion of the piece adds an additional 10” to its height, making it 36” x 46” in total.
I created this unique design in reminiscence of my travels to Europe in 2023, where I was able to see fully laden olive trees in person for the first time. I contrasted the deep green of the fabric with a shimmering peridot metallic paint, creating a rich blend of viridescence.
